As the world faces continuing uncertainty including economic fragility, fuel poverty and continuing instability with relationships on the European border, fashion is set to face similar uncertainties over the coming eighteen months.  As buying and spending habits adapt to economic uncertainty, this season’s trends offer inspiration and ideas appealing to the evolving consumer.  This issue focuses on trends for Autumn 23/24 with trends for Winter 23/24 dropping as a separate publication.
All the trends have a focus on shielding our younger generations from the pressures of events taking place in society.  Upbeat slogans and continuing messages of positivity flow through as an overriding message for all this season’s stories.  A focus on quality and longevity of materials and product is key as consumers seek to spend less, purchase fewer items with a focus on quality over quantity.  Conscious shoppers consider sustainability by purchasing products that are equipped and functionable meeting both the demands of seasonal weather and long-term durability – think quality down coats, waterproof materials, durable denims, and twills.  Those with tighter budgets will seek items that can be passed down that are stripped of unnecessary design and details to meet demands for practicality and functionality while achieving an accessible price point.
In total our Autumn/Winter publications will present 6 trends over two publications.  In our new style publications drop trends quicker and on a more regular basis.  We present our initial 3 autumn trends in this publication and our Winter trends in a separate publication later in the season.  Each trend is split into a younger and older focus with a concluding spread providing detail on key shapes and a print and graphics.
The three trends in this publication are Re-purposed, Urban Collision and Mis-Matched.  Each trend has two story boards loaded with inspiration for shape, colour, print, detailing and accessories.  While there are fewer individual boards than our original publications the new boards are loaded with far more imagery and inspiration helping to inspire you more than ever with your seasons range planning and product development.
Each trend offers a deeper insight into the inspiration into its individual influences and direction on its cover page.
Our Winter 2023/24 Trend publication costs £150.
The publication comes in a downloadable PDF format.
