Continuing with my recent village and house illustration series, I created this illustration of one of my favourite local Suffolk villages - Moulton.  I love Moulton for retaining its historic past with the sheep and pony meadows forming the heart of the village which are traversed by a number of footpaths accessed by traditional wooden stiles.  The village centre still has many of its original flint and thatched houses and is lucky enough to have kept its own independent village store.  The river Kennet flows though the village passed in several places either by fords or the wonderful english heritage 15th Century packhorse bridges.  The church of St Peters watches over the village from the villages surrounding rolling Suffolk hills.  I've tried to capture the village for all its charm in the below illustration.

Prints of this illustration are available of A4 watercolour paper for £35 each, packs of 15 postcards for £15 each and Tea-towels for £25 each.  I can also print it on a variety of other products - please contact me at emikiddy@googlemail.com for more details and for orders.
